Account Deletion Request
We respect your privacy and provide full control over your data.
If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal data, please follow the steps below.
How to Request Account Deletion
Option 1: Email Request
Send an email to: hey@heysearch.com
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include:
- Registered email address or phone number
- App name
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Option 2: In-App Request
If available, go to:
App → Settings → Account → Delete Account
What Data Will Be Deleted
Once your request is verified and processed, we will permanently delete:
- User profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Account credentials
- App usage data
- Stored preferences and settings
- Any uploaded content linked to your account
Data Retention
For legal, security, or compliance purposes, certain data may be retained for up to 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.
Processing Timeline
- Request verification & processing: 7–14 business days
- Confirmation email will be sent once deletion is completed
